Day 01 – Kochi to Munnar

Meeting and Greeting on arrival and then transfer you to Munnar hotel. En route watch the lovely waterfalls in Cheeyappara.

Day 02 In Munnar

Today is the second day of your Honeymoon in Kerala. You will visit Munnar.

Drive around Munnar is itself a sightseeing tour, besides that, it gives you one of the finest and breathtaking views of the Tea Estates. The most important center of tea industry in Kerala. It is a genuine hill station and therefore, nature lover’s paradise. There are enchanting high ranges, lakes and streams and the beautiful view of low-lying clouds and the mist filled valleys. Visit:- Eravikulam National Park, Madupetty Dam & Lake, Echo Point and Kundala Tea plantations.

Day 03 – Munnar to Thekkady (Periyar)

After breakfast transfer you to Thekkady hotel.

Periyar has a splendid artificial lake dotted with snags of dead wood, which provide a perch for water birds like; darter, grey heron, egret, and kingfisher. Most importantly, it is one of the finest habitats for the Asiatic elephant. These enormous mammals swim in the waters and streams and usually, they can be observed during the boat ride. Besides that, one can spot Tiger, leopards, sambar, wild dog, barking deer, the lion-tailed macaque, and the Nilgiri Langur. Furthermore, the forest harbors a variety of woodland birds.

Afternoon free to walk around Kumily spice market, and also you can watch Kalari Payattu (Kerala Martial Art) – your direct payment for the show tickets.

Day 04 In Thekkady (Periyar)

Today you can go for different activities in Thekkady, like spice plantation visit, elephant ride, boat ride or jungle walk (all the activity charges are on your direct payment basis).

Day 05 Thekkady to Kumarakom Backwaters

After breakfast transfer you to Kumarakom hotel.

Rest of the day is free at the backwater resort.

It is a beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields, and coconut groves. Besides that, Kumarakom is interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals. (A relaxing day of your Honeymoon in Kerala)

Day 06 At Kumarakom Backwaters

Today is a free day – You can do backwater cruise while you are in Kumarakom. In addition to that, you can also opt for Ayurveda massages.

Backwaters of Kerala: The essence of Kerala is its backwaters. It is the name given to a unique geographical formation comprising a network of innumerable lagoons, lakes, canals, estuaries and the deltas of 44 rivers that flow into the Arabian Sea. Over 900 km of this intricate network of backwaters is navigable. Consequently, the cruise along these palm-shaded waterways is the most popular holiday experience in Kerala.

Day 07 Kumarakom to Kochi departure

Finally transfer you to Kochi airport, en route, if you wish, you can visit Cochin city.
